first of the month hike & tea sit

Join Shaylee for a short hike up the La Cueva Rocks Trail, enjoy a cup of tea, and set your intentions for the month.

Park in La Cueva Parking Lot (the first lot you drive through). Parking is $5. We’ll meet at the trailhead in the parking lot and start hiking by 7:15 am. The gate to the park opens at 7 am, so you might have to wait at the gate if you arrive early.

Wear shoes with tread! This trail has rocky, steep areas that may be slippery if you don’t have the right shoes. It’s an easy/moderate out-and-back trail with a couple of steep sections, but it’s over before you know it.

Bring water, a mug, a journal, and something to write with. Optional: jetboil or camp stove. Shay will provide the tea. Herbal and caffeinated tea will be available.
